Irish Government Minister is a Witch

Edit: if they voted for Sinn Fein, they’ll vote for anything evil in Ireland.

A “WHITE” witch has saluted the Children’s Minister for her interest in the Wicca tradition. Katherine Zappone, an Independent TD, has studied witchcraft and its power to raise the “psychic energy” of participants and create a more “sustainable and peaceful planet”, the Irish Sun has learned.

Children’s Minister Katherine Zappone has a history with witchcraft.

The Irish Sun tracked down a copy of her book The Hope of Wholeness: A Spirituality of Feminism, written by Zappone and first published in 1991.

The Pope Condemns Witchcraft

Benedict XVI encouraged the Bishops of Angola to decisive measures against heathen practices like the ostracism and murder of children and the elderly.

Vatican City (kath.net/KNA) Pope Benedict XVI has encouraged the Bishops of Angola to decisive measures against heathen practices like the ostracism and murder of children and the elderly. Such traditional African practices are horrific and incompatible with Christianity, stressed the Pope on Saturday to the top Bishops of the southwest African land, who are fulfilling their ad limina visit at present in Rome. The Bishops must raise their voices against ostracism and the condemnation of these persons through witchcraft and magical incantations. Human life is holy in all of its phases, underscored the Pope.

The baptized are often torn between the traditional African religions and Christianity, continued the Pope. For that reason there are some practices which are incompatible with Christian doctrine and are dramatic in their consequences. Specifically, the Pope criticized the exaggerated concern with tribal associations, which limit the socialization between different people, and suggest that they are not prepared to receive people from other regions. In the Church there is "no place for this kind of ostracism", said the Pope. The bonds of brotherhood between Christians are stronger in the final analysis "than our earthly families and their heredity", stressed the head of the Church.

Voodoo Center of Caribbean hit by another Disaster

Yes, our sympathies go out to the Haitians, but...

An earthquake of magnitude seven would be devastating for any country. In the wake of such force, death and destruction is tragically inevitable. However, the repercussions for Haiti, this small ill-fated Caribbean country, will be worse than almost anywhere else in the world, because of the long-term political, economic and cultural context that surrounds today's natural disaster.

There is a story often told among Haitians that when the Spanish came to Hispanola (the small island shared between the Dominican Republic and Haiti) they surrendered Haiti to the devil in order to dedicate the Dominican Republic to God. When you consider their relative situations it is not hard to see why this myth is so commonly believed.

Uganda Witch Doctors Banned from Advertising on Radio in Uganda

Ugandan witch-doctors have used radio up to now to advertise their healing powers. However, this could soon be a thing of the past. The government's ethics minister, James Buturo, has said that radio stations are contravening the 1957 Witchcraft Act and "...are promoting witchcraft-related activities to the detriment of Uganda's integrity".

Witchcraft remains a major problem in Uganda and the government is keen to stamp out its promotion in the country. Radio, with its huge audiences, is key to its plans.
