Catholic Animism? Priest and Deacon of Archdiocese Adore Earth Mother "Rocks"

Thou Shalt Have no Other Gods Before Me

Edit: this is a continuation of videos documenting some liturgical abuses and occult rituals on Holy Saturday in 2012 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.   The Archdiocese is well aware this has been going on for years and has not done anything about it.  These sorts of abuses happen there every week.

In this video, a priest and deacon in good standing with the Archdiocese, engage in occult pagan rituals.   The rocks here being blessed  by Deacon Joseph Damiani and Father Michael Tegeder, are in the animistic American Indian parlance, "grandmothers" or "grandfathers", depending in some cases on the gender of the person idolizing them. They are said to be the bones of the "Earth Mother" and are heated up by fire for the use in sweat lodges and accompanying spirit journeys.

These pagan rituals are justified by appealing to "inculturation", but how these practices are justified to be imposed on a Catholic Mass as is the case here, is impossible to imagine.  It looks a lot more like a violation of the First and Second Commandments.

It's such a relief that they're in good standing with the Archdiocese!

Swiss University of Freiburg Introduces Course for Imam

(Fribourg),  University of Fribourg founded in 1889 in the Swiss canton of the same name was born of the desire of Swiss Catholics to have their own university in the Catholic Switzerland. Catholic predecessor institutions go back to the 16th Century. This Catholic oriented, though never officially Catholic University, plans to set up a course of study for Islamic Imams in next autumn.
The project is promoted mainly from the Egyptologist Antonio Loprieno, the Rector of the University of Basel and chairman of the Protestant Waldensian Church  of Basel. Loprieno chaired the multi-faith working group for further training  of imams and Islamic religious education teachers, which was established by the federal government. In an interview he said of the project: "The idea came from a dialogue which was conducted at the federal level for several years with the existing in Switzerland Islamic communities and organizations. It is an attempt to create a course that promotes on one hand the Integration of Muslims in the increasingly multi-cultural and Swiss society and on the other hand advancing a high quality theological debate on European Islam in general and Islam in particular the Swiss. "

Swiss Muslims 'Satisfied' - Paid for by the Taxpayer

Liked shows the Islamic community. According to a survey by the University of Zurich is a majority of Muslims living in Switzerland for a training of imams and Islamic religion teachers in Switzerland. Hicham Maizar, the person in charge of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Switzerland and chairman of the Swiss Religious Council said: "I am happy to note that a great step has been made. There are Muslims living in Switzerland for more than 50 years. We need to build bridges between them, society and the state authorities. We have established and shown that there can be Swiss and Muslims at the same time to dialogue  from the beginning. "
Hicham Maizar said that the cost of the participation of Muslims living in Switzerland  the cost is "unrealistic". The courses are financed therefore by the Swiss taxpayer, specifically by the Swiss Federal Government and the Canton of Fribourg. The long-term sponsorship is still unclear, as the rector of the University of Freiburg said. Discussions between the university and the federal government are underway.

Threat of Islamist Infiltration?

The project also sparked strong doubts and protests. First of all deputies of the Swiss People's Party (SVP) and the Christian Democratic People's Party of Switzerland (CVP) of the Canton of Fribourg warn of potential hazards with Islamist infiltration. MEPs want with their initiative received the Christian character of the university. They have asked the Great Council of State of the Canton to dissuade the University from setting up the controversial courses. Antonio Loprieno is convinced, however, that the courses will be a sure success: "It is impossible that Islamism penetrates to the university, which has a strong liberal tradition." Freiburg Rector Guido Vergauwen sees in the project, however, a "chance"  to strengthen positioning of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Freiburg, "even as a location for interreligious dialogue."
In the Federal Republic of Germany comparable courses of study have been established recently at four locations. The background is an increasing penetration of Islamic religious instruction in public schools. The Swiss project approximately follows the German national project.

Mass for Fourth Week of Advent Replaced by "Feast of Values" in Stuttgart

[Politically Correct] The abolition of best and most beautiful traditions  in Germany sometimes brings forth wondrous flowers. A high school [Gymnasium] in Stuttgart's Bad Cannstatt is celebrating  graduation on 20 December, a "Multicultural Celebration of the Feast of Values" rather than as a conventional Advent Mass. Ironically, the Catholic Church of Our Lady has even  made their church available for this ethical balderdash. Instead of the Mass of the  4th week of  Advent they committed to a celebration under the motto: "The 4th Thread, What Makes us Free?"  The organizer is the Ecumenical Student Council of Religion and Ethics.
According to the invitation letter from the Gottlieb-Daimler school to the parents, which was forwarded to PI, it reads (to enlarge click on the picture, with a brief summary below) :
gdg

So it is logically quite enthusiastically against racism and boasted that the almighty Cem Özdemir himself has awarded them the anti-racism plaque: "School without Racism--School with Courage". In general, the school represents itself as very liberal, whether they were to make  a silly short film, a Ju-Jutsu course or a learning tour of Stuttgart against racism. Such invaluable curriculum enrichments, without which the future intellectual elites of our country would not be socially acceptable and certainly not politically correct, are safely inculcated.
We ask ourselves, where is the much sought courage to keep one's own Christian traditions. Why does   no one have the courage to openly confess to rather than replacing Christian tradition by any favored ethical system? Why must everything be mixed in an ideal world mess, instead of showing some integrity?

There was also a report taken up by Junge Freiheit with some more back ground on this event:

It was an ecumenical festival celebrated to the assembled students on the last school day before Christmas under the motto: "The Four Thread -- What Makes us Free?".

For this event students of Evangelical and Catholic religious instruction groups as well as the ethics class were called upon the make contributions, explained a letter of explanation by the school, which is published above by Politically Incorrect.   The result of these considerations was that the students were desired to present a multicultural religious service in the Catholic church.

The event was organized by members of the Ecumenical Department of Religion and Ethics at the school "where people from 20 different nations come to learn",  it says on the school's internet site.  "We accept no form of racism, antagonism to women or other discrimination.  We are attentive to appropriate speech."  It is unclear why the school had replaced a Christmas Mass with a "Multi-cultural Feast".  The administration has not made a statement available. Culturally Sensitive Historical Falsification in Vienna: Siege of Vienna by the Turks Stricken From the History Books

Edit:  In view of the 560th anniversary of the fall of Constantinople to the Turk in 1453 yesterday, this story appears providentially.

History is vitally important, but the powers that be would prefer to forget certain episodes and mandate others, whose denial can lead to being murdered, losing one's livelihood, public disgrace and long prison sentences.

Here's a trial balloon being sent up in Austria. It will be interesting to see how the people take it.

There were similar attempts in England to avoid teaching about the "Holocaust" so as not to offend Muslims, or rather, as it was later spun, teachers could opt out of teaching the subject, in order to avoid inciting "anti-Semitic" thinking among Muslim students.

[Vienna.] As to addressing the defensive battle of Vienna against the Ottoman attackers or the Turkish wars in the 16th and 17th century, young Austrians could soon shrug helplessly:

Out of consideration for immigrants of Turkish origin, it was suggested by the principle that her Viennese elementary school's teachers not to treat the subject in the classroom. For those who do not comply, the threat of the dismissal, said the Zeitung Krone. After all, the Turks might be offended if they are reminded of their defeats in school. For Austrian history, the Turkish wars, however, are of immense importance. Vienna stood alone [Poles? Bavarians and Germans too?] against a major Turkish siege twice - and beat the attacker back both times. Parents are outraged by the effrontery of the Viennese school principal, Krone Zeitung also speaks of the "falsification of history".

I think it's also vitally important to linke Ewald Städler's address to the Turkish Ambassador in the Austrian Parlement in this context.

Islamic Group Favors Abolishing Swiss Cross and Flag

Edit: the poll on the paper website shows that ninety two percent are against this proposal.

The Swiss Cross should be abolished. This is being demanded by the Immigrant Association Secondos Plus. "The Swiss Flag has nothing to do with today's, multicultural Switzerland any more." Do you understand?

The Swiss Cross should be abolished. This is being demanded by the Immigrant Association Secondos Plus. "The Swiss Flag has nothing to do with today's, multicultural Switzerland any more," said Petrusic its representative.

The Cross has a Christian back ground. The Christian origins of Switzerland validates that it is respected, "only the separation of Church and State is also valid with regard to this flag", insisted a representative of Secondos Plus. "It is a given, therefore, that we have great religious and cultural diversity in Switzerland."

A new symbol is needed, with which everyone can identify with and not just Christians. As a new flag the former flag of the Helvetian Republic would work. This was officially introduced in 1799 and consisted of the colors of green, red and yellow and horizontally striped.

It had a resemblance to the current flag of Ghana and Bolivia. "The color of red and yellow stand for the original Cantons of Schwyz, Uri and Green for the Revolution", says Petrusic. In addition, all foreigners would have the ability to vote from as soon as they reach their 20th year. "The Helvetian Flag stands for a progressive Switzerland that's open to the world."

In the beginning of October Secondos Plus is planing an action, in order to launch a flag debate. "This is completely unacceptable", said the Aargauer SVP- National representative Sylvia Flückiger to the proposals of Secondos. "There is nothing that should disturb us about the Swiss flag. As their next move, they will have to get past our Federal Constitution." Socialist Party National representative Margret Kiener Nellen: "I would leave the Swiss flag like it is." She otherwise would like to engage this in a different way, "that all people will be treated with worth and the same rights."

New Cloister in Vienna for The Sisters of the Lamb

In the Briggittenau there is a "little cloister" -- The financing of the building comes completely from donations, the foundation will be followed by a contribution from the Archdiocese of Vienna.

Vienna (kath.net/PEW) In Vienna- Brigittenau there is a new Religious Order:  In the Dammer Street there will be built  a "little cloister" of the "Little Sisters of the Lamb". The corresponding approval has been taken care of.  The building for the wooden frame structure should begin in the spring.  The Sisters should be celebrating Christmas in their new cloister.

The new cloister will have two ground level courtyards and an additional chapel connected to the street.  The financing of the construction comes exclusively from donations.  The building has been ordered by the Archdiocese of Vienna.

As a newer branch of the Dominican order the Little Sisters of the Lamb want "simple clean homes" built, in order to "live among the people" and make people "from every walk of life" welcome. That they are building their new cloister in the 20th district with its diverse population is especially interesting for the Sisters, because they offer a "wide field for friendship and meeting".  The Sisters would like to be a "sign of friendship and peace of God" in a multicultural area: "We are really happy in our new neighborhood."

Till now the Sisters have set up housekeeping in the former Carmelite church on the Taborstrasse.  Even here -- in an environment that is very strongly marked by Jewish and Islamic families -- they have already begun with "many signs of friendship".

The "Community of the Lamb" is in nine countries with a membership of 130 Little Sisters and 30 Little Brothers.  In solidarity with all of the poor of the world the Brothers and Sisters have chosen a simple life.

Since 1996, Cardinal Schonborn has been ecclesiastically responsible for the order.  Since then the Community has presented itself in Vienna.  The Little Brothers and Sisters of the Lamb bestow their power of prayer to all people, who they meet every day and who confide in them.

There is a community of the "Friends Promoting the Community of the Lamb"  where you can support it at www.freundevomlamm.at, or here in English.

Man Fined in Austria for Offending Muslim by Yodelling

[Jihad Watch] "It was not my intention to imitate or insult them. I simply started to yodel a few tunes because I was in such a good mood." Not anymore. "Yodelling offends praying Muslims, say judges," from the Austrian Times, November 29 (thanks to C. Cantoni):
An Austrian has been fined for yodelling while mowing his lawn, according to a report. The Kronen Zeitung newspaper claims Helmut G. was told by a court in Graz, Styria, that his yodelling offended his next-door Muslim neighbours.

The men reportedly accused the 63-year-old of having tried to mock and imitate the call of the Muezzin. The daily paper writes the Austrian was fined 800 Euros after judges ruled he could have tried to offend them and ridicule their belief. The Muslims, whose nationalities were not revealed by the report, were right in the middle of a prayer when the Austrian started to yodel.

Minnesota Democratic Congressman Crashes and Lies at Press Conference

Does Keith Ellison benefit from voter fraud? The Pro-Abort, Islamist politician is afraid of his constituency being too afraid to vote, and even felt the need to doctor up one of the Tea Party's posters to make his point.

Voter Fraud is a felony and there is also a $500 reward. What is this rabid socialist afraid of?

And also, for those of you who are interested, Keith is a graduate of University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy, another great statesman brought to you courtesy of the Jesuits.

Boring White People are Stereotyped at Afrocentric Mass

They look so uncomfortable and ill-at-ease.

How often are we confronted by unattractive stereotypes of non-practicing Catholics cramming into the Gathering Space to sing Eagle's Wings and attempt to show how tolerant they are of other cultures and sexual preferences?

These negative stereotypes of boring white people who are overly sensitive to other cultures are overrepresented at these events, especially at Black History Masses. It's so hard to live down those stereotypes created about us in the media.

Afro-centric Mass celebrated for Black History Month

Created as a way of welcoming Catholics of every persuasion, the Afro-Centric Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church also has become a celebration of Black History Month.

Patsy Turner, who chairs the Multi-Cultural Committee at St. Mary's, said this is the 17th year for the Afro-Centric Mass, which will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. A short performance by the St. Augustine Gospel Choir will precede the service, shortly after 10 a.m.

Jackson originally had two Catholic parishes, St. Mary's and St. Joseph's Catholic Church, a mostly African-American parish, Turner said. The bishop of the Memphis diocese closed St. Joseph's in the 1960s and expected those congregants to attend St. Mary's, Turner said.

"But they didn't feel welcome," she said. "In the early '90s, I began to look around and noticed virtually none from St. Joseph's were at Mass. So we decided to bring them back in a welcoming way with an Afro-Centric Mass."
