Perhaps, you need to reread the life stories of St. Francis of Asissi(I can never remember how to spell "Asissi") and St. Martin DePorres. There are also several other saints who had special relationahips with animals. God created animals. Perhaps you would do well to contemplate that fact as well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-91672490203865738922015-12-29T09:01:47.993-08:002015-12-29T09:01:47.993-08:00Dogs have long been a symbol of fidelity and loyal...Dogs have long been a symbol of fidelity and loyality .Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-90910880672837462572015-12-29T00:30:09.651-08:002015-12-29T00:30:09.651-08:00Our own priest, who offers the Missa Cantata every...Our own priest, who offers the Missa Cantata every Sunday and the Low Mass every weekday, and who is the diocesan exorcist to boot, harbors otherwise homeless dogs and cats, of which our city has many.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-12965342866019173532015-12-29T00:21:19.557-08:002015-12-29T00:21:19.557-08:00All Catholic dogs go to Heaven. All Catholic dogs go to Heaven.Seannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-63282828816047392782015-12-28T15:44:28.217-08:002015-12-28T15:44:28.217-08:00"You never see the author in His work?"

Where dogs and cats are not treated well, people should beware. There should not generally be dogs wandering the streets as "stray dogs". Every dog deserves a home or to be assisted by a municipal department to be housed and treated humanely.Kathleen1031https://www.blogger.com/profile/10201084623185206141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-85125570747981381512015-12-28T10:51:02.720-08:002015-12-28T10:51:02.720-08:00You never see the author in His work? You never see the author in His work?Tancredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16015531337154301560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-40165246874460246132015-12-28T10:26:51.946-08:002015-12-28T10:26:51.946-08:00The original story mentioned that the priest fed a...The original story mentioned that the priest fed and watered the dog, so it is no accident that the animal hung around the church. Also, the priest said that at the Consecration,he looked into the dog's eyes and saw God! If the priest felt compassion for this animal, he should have fed him and watered him in his house, and offered the dog his own bed instead of allowing him into the church.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-53143651503804717752015-12-28T09:54:42.489-08:002015-12-28T09:54:42.489-08:00But not immortal ones and certainly not rational. But not immortal ones and certainly not rational.Gadflyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07537123281964278798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-52763359528688388772015-12-28T09:48:35.487-08:002015-12-28T09:48:35.487-08:00http://www.fisheaters.com/animals.htmlhttp://www.fisheaters.com/animals.htmlfriendnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4404498638452030181.post-57925589085830987372015-12-28T09:34:03.284-08:002015-12-28T09:34:03.284-08:00The name animal comes from the greek, "anima,...The name animal comes from the greek, "anima," which means soul with the diminutive "oula".

Animals do have souls.
