Manelli walked through the refectory he said hello to a visiting young man from Naples in the kitchen and a brother setting the refectory table. After Fr. Manelli went through the door and down the stairs some 5 seconds or so elapsed the large picture of St. Francis fell.<br />The famous large image was on the wall behind where the Superiors sit. After he walked by the image swung upward clockwise almost full tilt and than violent swung counter clockwise and fell to the ground with a thud. The big visitor stuck his head out of the kitchen into the refectory and the brother asked "Marco, vento or diablo?" Marco shook his finger in the air and said no vento, Diablo!" The Devil has been planning the destruction of the FFIs along time.
