"Catholic" School Introduces Gender Neutral Uniforms

Edit: this is from the blog "Listening in the Desert", where the allegedly Catholic Diocesan school in the United Kingdom has introduced a gender-neutral uniform.
St Anthony’s Catholic primary school in Southwark Diocese UK announced yesterday that it will be introducing a “Gender Neutral” school uniform from September 2017.
In its weekly newsletter via the school’s website, Head teacher Mrs. Jane Day says:
“I am pleased to announce that the Governors have approved the introduction of a gender neutral uniform which will be introduced in September. Rather than having a separate uniform for girls and boys, one uniform list will be produced and girls and boys can choose whether they wear skirts, pinafores, shorts or trousers. There is no change to the uniform which will remain grey, green, yellow and white.”
Her announcement has left parents stunned and upset as it goes completely against the teachings of the Catholic Church, and they say they were not consulted or informed whatsoever of the changes to the uniform.
The site has contact information for the school leaders and the Archdiocese of Southwark under Archbishop Peter Smith  archbishop@rcsouthwark.co.uk.

I honestly thought this was a hoax initially but alas it's genuine. Well, the residents of certain parts of south London aren't necessarily noted for their gentility or their willingness to suffer fools gladly so I would strongly advise any boy deluded enough to try to go to school in a skirt this September to seriously consider attending those self-defence classes advertised elsewhere in Mrs.Day-Release's newsletter. Mrs.Dayzed-and-Confused is not fit to be in charge of a cat (wouldn't be surprised if she owned about six) never mind a large number of 5-11 year olds.
As with so many aspects of the accelerating societal degeneration which we see all around us, this can be summed up in two words: Diabolical Disorientation

At least they aren't all colors of the rainbow. There are rainbow books in their library.

This is sick. Never would even be considered five years ago, in any Catholic school probably.
Once again, I'll go to the root of the problem.....Thank you for this, Pope Francis.

@Osusanna: You missed one. "Green and yellow" are considered to be "gay colors".

What's ++Ray Burke going to do?

Well, Anon @ 9.26, let's not forget that Mary's Dowry is uniquely blessed with a whole host of bishops who are so eager to uphold Catholic Teaching and speak Truth unto Power that they make St.John Chrysostom look like a slippery modernist dissembler. I have little doubt therefore, that once this directive is brought to the attention of the appropriate authorities, Mrs. Day will be called out for her insanity and swiftly reassigned to a more menial but potentially still rewarding role where her scope for damaging young minds will be seriously curtailed, such as cleaning public toilets. As a result, there will be no need for Cardinal Burke to get involved.

Yo! Please don't insult St. John Chrysostom like that - he's a Father and Doctor of the Church!!!

You should mention that in your next confession.

WHY IS THE HEADMISTRESS PLEASED WITH THIS RESULT. WHAT DOES IT SAY ABOUT CATHOLIC TEACHING IN THE SCHOOL. I WOULD REMOVE MY CHILD QUICK FROM THIS SCHOOL, SAVE THEIR SOUL AND HOME SCHOOL

Everyone reading this post please contact the Archbishop and school as this will become the norm in all schools if people do nothing. This will see how far they can get!
Silence is colluding with Evil!

Whatever, another sign of the times. Catholic schools should educate boys and girls separately due to hormones.
It's just one less distraction.

I remember going to Church with my wife about five years ago during a week day. The school was letting out and it's a mixed catholic boys/Girls. The girls came strutting out wearing the mos indecent above the knee skirts. I wondered how any boy in that school could concentrate and not have his head up in the clouds all day. Just make them wear pants if they're gong to wear those indecent outfits.

If you are a Catholic parent and allow your children to go to a modernist school you have lost your faith! Simples! This modernist disease is spreading like wildfire and is killing the faith and morals we all live by. It sounds as though the headmistress of this school has lost both. Take your kids out and stand up for your faith

No problem. The girls should get skirts, the boys should get pants and the gender confused and their enablers should get counselling.

You'd blame a heavy thunderstorm in Fiji on Pope Francis wouldn't you!! He can't be running all over the world solving diocesan problems; that's what bishops are for. Please stop the Pope Frances paranoia.

"He can't be running all over the world solving diocesan problems"

If this wasn't so pathetic, it would be funny. He doesn't solve the Church's or diocese problems....he creates them!! Everyone with any sense (to be polite) and who has red about Francis and his people and their agenda knows that if Francis and company don't actually 100% approve of LGBT issues /inclusiveness towards them also with regards to transgender etc., they have not said anything against it either. They are quietly accepting of it and even welcoming towards it. Example....Francis about 2 weeks ago received the new ambassador from some tiny European county along with the man's "husband". The ambassador is a practicing homosexual, in a homo union.
I feel sorry for you if you are so blinded by pope-worship that to Francis is without stain or blame.
EWTN used to be guilty of what is almost a cultish "pope worship", but even they saw the light with Francis.
Open your eyes, read what the guy says and stands for without idolizing him.
Maybe then you would grow up.

Whom don't you blame, Damian?

Exactly!!

Benedict XVI, good traditional priests and nuns, cardinals and bishops, traditional Catholic faithful...particularly with young families trying to keep the Faith. How hard it is for them to keep the Catholic Faith when the Pope himself and his advisors don't.
They're the heroes in the Church today....not people like this school teacher who is accommodating sinful behavior and promoting a sinful agenda.
You won't hear a sound of complaint against this agenda from the Vatican of Francis. Not a word. Saying nothing promotes the sin even more.

Damian.I agree with you about this appalling Pontificate of The Bergoglio. He is colluding with these attacks on our youth and doesn't even speak to his Faithful Cardinals.Lord help us!

Another alternative is for both boys and girls to be dressed in pants with lap-laps over the them. It works in many places.
