Antonio Spadaro SJ Tweets: 2 + 2 Can Make 5 -- Because Real Life

Antonio Spadaro SJ, head of the Roman Jesuit publication La Civiltà Cattolica and close pope confidant, tweeted on 6 January 2017, Rome, Lazio.

Father Spadaro was part of the editorial committee for the final report of the Synod of Bishops on the family and for the controversial post-synodal Letter Amoris laetitia in 2015. He is one of the most active advocates of the redefinition of the marriage sacrament, with which he zealously strives to ensure that 2 + 2 in real life is no longer 4. Spadaro does not, therefore, do a good service to mathematics or theology, or to logic and reason, and thus not to the "real life" of man.

  1. Chauncey Gardner #2 the other blathering idiot. Duh! Christ didn't know about real life. None of us did until the Rhodes scholar ascended the Chair of Peter. All hail the Oracle.

  2. All good Catholics who love the traditions of the Church must rise up and drive out Pope Francis, and his associates like this clown.
Using their logic of 2+2 can =5, any vice, sin, and immoral lifestyle or practice can be justified. Using this formula, you can justify just about anything evil. A Muslim blowing up a building killing 1,000 people, a person getting married 4-5x, transexuality, bisexuality, gay marriage, looting and destruction of property during a riot, etc.etc...not to mention breaking the Commandments because they don't fit contemporary situations. Pope Bergoglio said just that yesterday.....encouraging people to break free from the strict guidelines of the Ten Commandments. Can you imaging a Catholic Pope saying that!!
When other religions start to think that this Pope isn't even a Christian, or a Catholic ( Evangelicals in the USA, and a Lutheran female bishop in Germany), we have a serious problem. And we must get rid of it.

    2. In 2004, Pope John Paul II visited Greece to apologise for the actions of the crusaders in the Fourth Crusade. He was called the Antichrist. I'd hate to see what the Orthodox bishops think of Pope Francis.

    3. Have the eastern orthodox apologized for the Slaughter of the Latins?

  3. These ecclesiastical court jesters are not simply moronic but evil. Truth means nothing to them---and that is the ultimate blasphemy, for God is Truth: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." Notice the integral connection Our Blessed Lord makes between truth and life---and this blathering heretic pretends that objective truth must give way to real life. It shows he knows nothing about either.

    1. Yes, your "Nutts" is a fitting reflection of the liberal, reality-denying insanity with which you seem to be afflicted.

  7. Radiohead rock band has a satanic song called "2+2=5", I wonder if Fr. Spadaro knows that...
